In loving memory of Nasima Marchioni, passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London, on Sunday, July 17, 2016, at the age of 87. Predeceased by her husband Adelmo Marchioni, of Sudbury. Loving mother of Peter (Sharon Muise), David (Antonietta Ricciuto), Diana, and John (Angela Cayen). Cherished grandmother of Daniel (Reanne Gateman), Matthew, Christina, and Brandon. Great-grandmother of Roman and Pennelope Marchioni. Loved daughter of the late Adele (née Daabous), and Nassib Mahfood. Dear cousin, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her greatly. Born in Jdeidet, Marjeyoun, Lebanon, she was married to Adelmo for 53 years. Nasima was a loving mother, devoted wife, and talented seamstress. Having lost her father early in life, family was her focus. She treasured the time she had with all of them, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF HOPE PARISH, 591 Brennan Road, Sudbury, on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 12:00 noon, with visitation from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent Street, Sudbury. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Nasima are asked to consider Our Lady of Hope Parish.

Dave and Toni and family, Please accept our sincere sympathy on the passing of your beloved mother. She was a delight to be around and to know her even briefly.
