Norma Jean Roman (née Cunningham)

Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Friday, February 19th, 2016, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Andy Roman. Dear mother of Mark (Sheralyn) and Steven (Felicia). Loved by her grandchildren Matthew, Zachary, Jenna and Olivia, and by her niece Indra Stogdill. Survived by her brother and sister-in-law John and Rochelle Cunningham. Norma will be sadly missed by many friends. Predeceased by her brothers Bruce and Robert. Norma was active in Bramalea Little Theatre, enjoyed knitting, sewing and anything to do with the performing arts. She loved to travel. In retirement, Norma moved to London where she enjoyed cards, book club and was an active member of Riverside United Church. She was very proud of her two boys, their wives and her four grandchildren, who will all miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be conducted at RIVERSIDE UNITED CHURCH, 695 Riverside Drive, London, on Thursday, February 25th, 2016 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.
A memorial visitation will be conducted at GRACE UNITED CHURCH, 156 Main Street North, Brampton, on Thursday, March 3rd, 2016 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Graveside service to follow at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Norma are asked to consider Riverside United Church.

We were sorry to hear of Norma's passing - she was a lovely lady and we enjoyed her company very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Ted and Dolores Thurston
Norma and I shared a love of live theatre. Our last outing was in the fall at Petrolia. We enjoyed chatting about the behind the scenes..shop talk!! So happy I saw her in the hospital the end of January.. You will be missed dear friend.. My deepest condolences I...I won't be back in London late on the 25th
I always enjoyed Norma's direct manner, challenging and expressing opinions in our Worship meeting and book club discussion. She had a zest for life and shared her Motherly wisdom with me. I will miss her twinkling eyes and engaging personality.

We are so very sad to hear of Norma's passing. Our children met and later married and gave us two of our wonderful Grandchildren.For years Norma came for Christmas. At all our family gatherings, we have shared a love and pride in our family's. We will miss you very much. God bless.

loss of a dear friend....had a great Christmas dinner together and New Years Eve with friends....lots of fun and laughter....Norma had quite the humour....Norma will be missed by my family and friends from Loretto and Alliston.....enjoy the new world Norma
