Peacefully at home with his family, on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the age of 88. Cherished partner of Darlene; and four-legged friend, Sandy. Devoted father of Grant Meadwell (Luis Rojas) and Scott Meadwell (May Picardo); stepfather of Michael Reidy, James Reidy (Aliya), and Rhonda Reidy. Proud Grandpa of Jessica, Daniel, Laura, and Sarah Meadwell. Great-grandfather of Bennett and Elouise. Predeceased by his siblings, Ron Meadwell, Vera Jacobs, Joan Meadwell, and Ruth Shepherd. Missed by his many nieces and nephews. At the request of the family, there will be no service. A special ‘thank you’ to Dr. Maria Parent and Nurse Florence with VON Middlesex-Elgin. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Don are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

I am sorry to hear of Don's passing. I knew Don from Centennial Lodge - he was a fine gentleman. May happy memories and the love of family and friends help support you during this difficult time.
My heart goes out to Darlene and the family ... so sorry for your loss . I knew Don for many years and in fact go back to when he had his own Real Estate Brokerage .
