Peacefully, with family by his side, at Victoria Hospital, on Friday, September 3, 2021, Norm Dinsmore, in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Isabel Dinsmore (2005). Cherished Dad of Sherry (the late Clayton) Warmuth, Carol (Ken) McAvoy, and Rick (Susan) Dinsmore, all of London. Loved Grandpa of Adam (Keri), Suzy (Josh), Jennifer (Mark), Heather (Dale), Sarah (Koki), Laura (Ryan); and his 15 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters, Marion LaSalle, Myrtle Futter; brothers, Doug (Pat), Bill (Donna); and sisters-in-law, Eleanor Grist, Marg Beal (Don), Betty Molloy, Pauline Stonham and Joann Dinsmore. Predeceased by his brothers, Gord, Jack, and Jim. Norm was born and raised in Brantford, Ontario. He was a longtime employee of CN Express, a member and past president of Kiwanis Club of Middlesex, and active community volunteer even into his 90s.
A private funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. The family welcomes anyone to participate in the service via livestream. A private interment of ashes at Woodland Cemetery will take place at a later date.

Carol, Ken and family. My sincere sympathy on the passing of your Dad and grandpa. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I have known Norm (and Isabel) for many years during my time at Oakridge Church as Secretary, and later at Westmount Church. Norm was one of my volunteers at Oakridge and always had his lovely smile whenever you saw him. Such a lovely man and a true gentleman, who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was a "Good and Faithful Servant". My sincere condolences and prayers to the whole family.

Norm will always be remembered as a positive, kind, gentle man, and so young at heart! He gave of himself endlessly, and was always interested in what was going on with those around him. My parents, Muriel and Harold Sheere, loved Norm and Isabel so much. Isabel was more like a sister than a cousin to my mom. They spent a lot of time together. He was a wonderful, caring man that was always there to help anyone at the drop of a hat. His smile and outgoing way was infectious. It was with great sadness that I read Norm's passing. He was such a gentleman and had such a warm and loving smile. Norm and Isabel where such a great couple, and loving parents. He will be missed by many. Hugs and prayers to all.

We want to extend our deepest sympathies to Norm's family. We had the good fortune of having Norm and Isabel as neighbours in Byron for many years. They were such a warm and loving couple and a true addition to our community. A true gentleman like Norm will be sadly missed.

We would like to extend our sympathies to Norms family. Norm was very special person , so thoughtful and kind. We were so lucky to have norm and Isabel as our neighbours , They were a wonderful couple. We will always remember how cheerful and happy Norm was. We can still hear him whistling while doing his chores. We will never forget Norm and Isabel. Rip Norm, you will be missed..
Memories
We were saddened to hear of Norm's passing. He and Isabel were our next door neighbours for several years and one couldn't ask for better neighbours. Norman always had the unique ability to look 20 years younger than he was! We can't believe he was 97! We have lost a genuinely good person. RIP Norm. Isabel and he are finally reunited,
