Norman Wedgwood Thornton

1926 – 2014

It is with sorrow that the beloved husband, for 59 years, to Margaret (née Williams) passed away quietly at home, in London, on January 12^th, 2014, in his 88^th year.  He will be greatly missed by his children Rod (Sandra) and Clayton (Sheridan), and by his grandchildren Melissa, Adam (Candice), Lesley, Jemma and Oliver.  A memorial visitation will take place at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Saturday, January 18^th, 2014 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.  The family extends special thanks for the compassionate care provided by the many PSW’s from VON, the nurses from Revera, the staff at VHA Rehab Services and CCAC, and all the wonderful staff at the McCormick Home.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Norm to the Alzheimer Society.
