Patricia Anne Davey

February 20, 1934 - May 7, 2025

Patricia Anne Davey (nee Stevens) passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the age of 91, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Toronto on February 20, 1934, to Raymond and Dorothy Stevens. Pat grew up with her twin brother Bob and younger brother Larry. From an early age, she showed a natural gift for caring for others. This gift would become the foundation of her life’s work. As a dedicated registered nurse, Pat was known for her patience and her ability to comfort those in her care.

She was a woman of simple pleasures – her morning coffee, a good book, watching the news, tending to the roses in her garden, and sharing stories with her family. Whether knitting scarves, trying a new recipe, or admiring her favourite springtime pansies, she always found joy in the little things. She loved going out for lunch with her friends and spoiling her loved ones with beautiful cards and surprise gifts. Pat’s greatest joy came from her family. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by her family, gathering around the table where her home-cooked meals and baking were always a highlight.

Pat was a loving mother to her children: Stephen, Gregory, Marlene Botnick (Joe), Lorraine Torresan (Graziano); a devoted Nana to her grandchildren: Lindsay (Corey), Alyssa (Burt), Micaela (Gray), Nathan (Emily), Olivia (Sam), Emma, Samantha (Jeff), and Spencer (Crystal); and a proud great-grandmother to: Dante, Zachary, Thatcher, Radley, Hunter and Zachary.

She was pre-deceased by her parents Raymond and Dorothy, her brothers Bob and Larry and her beloved grandson Nathan.

Pat’s family will be holding a private celebration of life on May 13, 2025, to honour the countless ways she brought joy and love into their world. Pat was a woman whose generosity knew no bounds, and her love was a constant source of comfort and joy. She was a shining example of God’s love, compassion and grace, who lived a life of purpose and devotion. Pat’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
