My deepest condolences for your loss of Pat. Illness kept me from the service this past Saturday. I was fortunate to work with Pat at the LDCSB where I benefitted from her mentoring and sage wisdom of how to navigate the education system. We also shared the double duty of single parenting and managing a home on our own. Pat shared some of her learned experiences (such as when to rent equipment vs whether to own it) much of which I still use today. As a Social Worker, I had the opportunity to sit in on some of her parent sessions when she shared the findings of their child's assessments. She was direct, to the point and left them feeling like they could still conquer the world! I feel very grateful for having crossed paths with Pat and wanted you to know how I felt.

To Pat’s Family – Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of Pat. We worked together in different capacities at Riverside. Pat always gave generously of herself in outreach and missions. My caring thoughts are with you. Peace . . . Norma Clare

I am so sorry to hear about Pat's death. She sang in my choir at Riverside United Church for several years and she was a lovely lady. She will be forever missed. Big hugs and lots of love to her family.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Pat sang in my choir at Hyde Park and then followed me to Riverside United. So happy we shared time together. ❤️. RIP dear friend.

Christel and Randy I know it is such a tough time for you both. But your mom was such a lovely lady. Always made me feel welcome into your house. And always such a wonderful smile with every visit.

Growing up, Pat was like a second mom to me. She always welcomed me into her home and generously included me on numerous family vacations, most memorably to visit her parents in Manitoulin and Florida. She was such a strong, determined woman and she loved her family (both 2 and 4-legged) dearly. She will be deeply missed. Shaneen

Dear Christel, Randy and Families, I am so very sad that my precious friend Pat has died. For fourty plus years Pat and I have shared many adventures. From singing together in Hyde Park United Church Choir to “appropriating” a BBQ in Little Current, we have taken many roads together. At the end of the day, I always knew that I could trust Pat. I have missed our frequent conversations since Pat’s surgery in January. Now, as Pat joins her beloved parents, I pray that she knows how much she is loved by Bob and me. Our Manitoulin tree will be our daily reminder of “the good times”. Blessings to all who also love Pat. Sincerely, Dawn.
