I had the pleasure of knowing Paul when we were both kids. Even then he was a great mentor. We had lots of fun camping with our families. I recently got to spend a little time with him enjoying our mutual love of music. I will miss him. A donation has been made to The Canadian Cancer Society.

I learnt a lot from Paul in the time I worked with him though very little of what he taught me was about work. How to celebrate and be proud of your kids is something Paul demonstrated to me in his words and actions. He communicated his love of his family earnestly each time we talked. I will remain a big fan and happy to have known him as a friend and have had his example of living in my life.

Dear Carlie and family, We were so sad to hear the tragic news about Paul. We will remember Paul for his hard work building a beautiful back deck for us . And each year, Spring and Fall, Paul would cheerfully transport our plants to and from Heeman's Nursery. Paul was a good man. He will be missed by all who were privileged to know him. In sorrow, Sallie and Alex Hammond

Many years ago Paul, along with our friend Peter, helped me build a wooden canoe. May his loved ones soon be paddling in calmer waters.
