Peggy Hammond

June 15, 2012

Suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, June 15, at the London Health Sciences Hospital, Peggy passed away in her 92nd year. Peggy is predeceased by her parents May and Russell Lawless and her two sisters, Evelyn Bousfield-Wolfe and Monica Park.  She is sadly missed by her daughter Kathy and Duncan Gray of London and her son Rob and Jody from Parry Sound and their father Fred Hammond of Kitchener. She was the loving grandmother of James, Zachary and Kristen.  She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews David, John, George, Mary, Sara, Lynn, Michele, Kerry, Peter and their respective families.  A Celebration of Life for Peggy has been arranged at the Civic Garden Complex, 625 Springbank Drive, London, Ontario at 1:30 pm on July 4, 2012. In keeping with Peggy’s wishes, attire is casual, bright and happy as she wanted us to celebrate her life, not mourn her loss.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Peggy’s name to the Stoney Creek Community Centre, YMCA, 920 Sunningdale Road East, London, Ontario N5X 0H5.
