Peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2020, Penelope Liambotis, of London, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Dimitrios (2017). Cherished mother of John (Sophie) and Angelo. Proud grandmother of Dimitri, Peter, Julia and Angelina. Missed by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 8:00 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A funeral service will be conducted at HOLY TRINITY GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 131 Southdale Road West, London on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Please note: the funeral home can ONLY admit a maximum of 60 people at each visitation period as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, https://thebao.ca/registrars-directive-changes-to-funeral-and-visitation-attendance/. A hard working lady who arrived in Canada with nothing except the will to start a new life. She was rich in life: a loving husband, two hard working sons, their families, dignity, respect, decency and credence. It is with gratitude for the fine example that she set that I wish her Rest in Peace Mrs. Penelope.
