Peacefully, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Victoria Hospital, in his 55th year.  Loving husband of Nicole (née Horner).  Cherished son of Mary and the late William Sawruk and son-in-law of Rick and Estelle Horner.  Dear brother of Christopher, Stephen (Teresa), and Marcie (Len) Pieprzak, and brother-in-law of Ryan Horner and Jason (Jill) Horner.  Treasured nephew of Joan Jelly and Ralph (Molly) Green, and uncle of Taylor, Alan “A.J.”, Megan, Jacob, Taylor, Paige and Ella.  He will be fondly remembered and missed by many cousins, family and friends.  A proud alumnus of U.W.O., Pete’s passion for cars, especially Mustangs, boating, waterskiing and travelling was a big part of his enjoyment which he loved to share with friends and family.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the memorial service will be conducted on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Pete are asked to consider “The DASH” (Kristen O’Halloran Memorial Fund).
