Dear Angie, Claudia, Ryan, Corey and Jessica xo Frank and I are just devastated to have heard this news. After finally getting in touch with Jess I was hopeful we could attend. We are taking our daughter Jenny back to Queens. I am very sorry we are unable to come. We have not kept in touch in all these years since you left Dorchester but we have such fond memories of Peter. He was full of life and Jess said you all fought hard with him and for him. I am not surprised. Jeff and Sarah both told us and we simply could not believe it. Angie, I have your number from Jess and I will be in touch. There are no words to comfort you in your loss. We are all so very sorry with such heavy hearts. To the Johnston family: words cannot express our deepest condolences. Peter was a great friend and like an older brother to me. We connected from the first time we met. I will miss his drive by visits (home and work) and our coffee conversations (Starbucks and Tim Horton). I am very thankful for the time I had with Peter.

Any time you thought of Peter a smile would come to your face....clearly the world was a better place with Peter in it. He will be missed.

Angie, Jeff and I feel so fortunate to have known Peter and shared in fun and friendship across work and play. I am particularly grateful to have experienced a piece of your retirement dream last summer at your home and will always remember the twinkle in Pete's eyes as he raced his boat across the lake! Jeff is grateful to have enjoyed many golf games with Peter and the trip down south last fall will be a treasured memory. I met Peter a bit more than a year ago on a golf trip to Orlando. Much can be said for determining the character of someone having played 18 holes with them. Peter was a good golfer and a real, gracious gentleman on the course. To Peter's family, my sincere condolences on your profound and premature loss.
