Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at University Hospital on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, Peter Meert, of London, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Yvonne Meert (2012). Loving father of Jenny and her husband Gregory Evans, of New Brunswick, and the late John Meert (2000). Dear father-in-law of Janet. Much loved grandfather of Debbie Meert-Williston (Rick), Robert Meert (Judy), Susanne Meert, William Evans (Jeannie), and Peter Evans (Kathleen). Peter will be sadly missed by several great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Private family interment of ashes at Woodland Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Peter are asked to consider London Regional Cancer Program or Alzheimer Outreach Services of McCormick Home.
