Peter Pistor
December 23, 2025
Peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on December 23, 2025, at the age of 98. Beloved husband of Rosemarie for 71 years. Loving father to Maria (Randy Bowden), Peter (Linda) and Paul (Laura). Proud Pappa of grandchildren Sheena (Joe), Peter (Raye), Paul, Mark (Manuela), Brian, Julia, and Nicole (Temisan) and great-grandchildren Angel and Alessia.
Predeceased by his parents Luigi and Maria Pistor and siblings, Reginetta, Michele, Giovani, Rosalia, Sabina, Felicina, Mose, and Adriana. Survived by many nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada.
Peter was born in Valvasone, Italy, in 1927 and came to Canada in 1952. He was proud to be both Italian and Canadian. He cherished his family and loved to tell them stories of his childhood in Italy. He enjoyed music, playing the organ, piano and accordion, or simply singing (loudly!) whenever he had the chance. He is irreplaceable and will be greatly missed, but his memories will live on.
Visitation and funeral service will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Ricordo la sua ultima visita in Italia, sempre vicino alla sua moglie Rosmary! Estremamente gentile e sorridente trovava sempre il modo per rasserenare tutti! Veramente una gran bella persona!!
We have some wonderful memories of Uncle Peter. We are thinking of all of you. Teresa and Doug

My condolences to the family. I knew Peter at Hotel London around 1963 and he was always so nice to me.
