Peter Saxton

July 3, 2024

Passed peacefully, after a brief illness, with loving partner Adrienne Lachance “Adie” by his side, at LHSC – University Hospital on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at the age of 86. He was a proud dad and will be missed by Claire, Philip (Kim), and Hannah (Alan). He was a loving Granpy of Jonathon, Hailey, Kaitlin, Rebecca, Chloe, Simon, Andrew, and a Great-Granpy to Greyson. Peter will also be missed by Adie’s children: Paul (Suzan), Brian (Courtney), and Lise (Brad); as well as Adie’s Grandkids: David, Jason, Crystal, Michael, Adam, and Adie’s Great-Grandkids Elizabeth, Benjamin, Riley, and Owen. Peter was survived by his sister Betty Boyer.

Peter was an avid golfer and had many golf buddies at RiverBend. He loved to travel the lands and cruise the seas. He was a proud Englishman and a friend to many. He was always happy to chat, to have a good banter, and to get your goat!

A private service will take place. Please join the family for a memorial reception at RiverBend Golf Community, 1200 Sandy Somerville Drive, London, on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Peter are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

I am so sorry to hear of Peter's passing, we always had a good time ribbing one another when golfing together. I missed him, and his humor, after my giving up golf, but he was never forgotten. Joanne and my thoughts and prayers together go out to all his Family at this very sad time. Cal
