Our Deepest sympathies on your sad loss. I have very fond memories of his visits home to Ireland. May Uncle Peter's gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
I knew Peter through our membership in Ashlar Masonic Lodge, #610, here in London. He was a kind thoughtful man who stood on principle but who was never aggressive or mean-spirited. He was a credit to his Masonry. I was sorry to lose most contact when he left London, but he will be happy to be reunited with his wife.
Sincerest condolences and we are thinking of all of you. Both Uncle Peter and Aunt Irene were two of the kindest people I've known and I have such good memories of them both and, of course, of Uncle Peter making me laugh. Rest in peace Uncle Peter, sending lots of hugs. Jenn, Tim, and Lianna
Our heartfelt condolences to Peter's family. Peter was usually the man with the joke or funny comment and was truly valued for his commitment to his family, faith community and friends. It has been a few years since I last spoke to Peter, but he was in our prayers after Irene's death which was a very difficult period. Peter and Irene were members of St. Anne's Church for many years and also good friends of my parents Jack and Jean. They enjoyed many social times together. We continue to keep Peter and Irene in our prayers.
I had the pleasure of knowing Peter for many years. First as a volunteer at Parkwood and then as a caregiver for Irene. He was always willing to meet new people and set their minds at ease with his approachable calm demeanor. Quick to share a funny quip or laugh at a joke, Peter could command a room or be the perfect supporting cast. A picture of Peter in his finest St Patty's green still hangs on the wall here at Parkwood. Although I lost track of my friend in the most recent years, Peter will always be one of the 'Original Legends' in my program. Please know Peter is well thought of here and will be remembered fondly.
Our deepest condolences to Janet, Peter and Laurie and their families. Uncle Peter had a wonderful personality. He's reunited with Auntie Irene... together forever xoxo
May God rest your soul uncle Peter every moment spent in your company is treasured you will live on in our hearts. May your gentle soul rest in peace with God.
Heartfelt condolences to Janet, Peter & Laurie. Fond memories of meeting Uncle Peter here & in Dublin during my childhood & as an adult. He will be sadly missed. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace. Love Bríd
