I had the pleasure of caring for Phyl when I worked at Oakcrossing. She was a delightful lady with a warm sense of humour. She was always so kind. She will be greatly missed. May God comfort you during this time.

Dear Leslie and Family, I had the privilege of getting to know and love your Mom as a caregiver at PeopleCare. A person you'd only need to meet once to remember her as friendly, funny, positive and resilient. I loved popping my head into Phyl's room and hearing every detail of her fascinating stories about life and family. She treasured all of you. My services came to a halt roughly a year ago understandably with the first Lockdown. I just yesterday read of Phyl's passing and am very sorry for your loss. What a sweetheart she was❤️ And will be missed. Nancy (Gauld) xx

My sincere sympathies to the Galpin family. I was one of the fortunate people to play bridge with Phyl in the Tuesday evening biweekly bridge club for over 40 years. She was a joy with whom to play, a good player but never taking the game too seriously. May you also have happy memories of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

We are so sorry to learn of Aunt Phyl's passing, a part of the Galpin old guard. We have many fond memories of the road trips down the 401 and Highway 2 and fun chaos from Ottawa to London and Sarnia to meet up with aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. Our thoughts and sympathies are with you. Albert, Jennifer, Kristianne, Elliott, Virginia and Timea Galpin.

Sending my sincere condolences to the Galpin family. Phyllis and I were classmates at Listowel High School during our 5 year stay there. I have many fine memories of that time when we sang together in the school choir, the operetta and concerts as well as the many sport days and band practices available. Phyllis always participated and was a cheerful member of the class. I am sorry for your loss and know how much a mother means her family. She will be sorely missed. Sincerely . Glenna (Scott) Morrison

We are so sorry to hear of Phyl's passing. As fellow members of the Whitton Avenue Pool & Yacht Club we have many fond memories of Phyl & Don at neighborhood wine & cheese and pool parties, the theatre in both London and Grand Bend, playing bridge, and the annual New Year's games we used to have with the folks from Fontaine Road. We will miss her smile and sense of humour. - Kay Collard, Tom & Kathy Collard, Jim & Shelagh Collard
