I was sorry to hear of "Mr Doran's" passing. I recall him as a great teacher and coach when I attended Riverside Public School. many years ago. He was always committed to supporting his students inside the classroom-giving of his time to assist in learning, and as well outside of the classroom coaching baseball. Great memories. My deepest sympathies to your family. Penny Clark (Pixton)

So sorry to learn of Ray's passing; sincerest condolences to the entire family. I have fond memories of golf and laughter as far back as the 70's at the St. Thomas Public Golf Course, a teenager tagging along with Ray and his good friend "Uncle Ross" .

Ray was a class guy and a class act in all my dealings with him. He exemplified the total educator in all that he did. Even on the golf course, he was the perfect gentleman. My personal condolences to the family. He will be missed!

Carmela and family, we are very sorry to hear of Rays passing. He was such a character who loved to have fun. I would love to hear stories from my Dad about their latest golf excursions. Now he, Dougie and Ross will always have a tee off time. Hold all the wonderful memories close to your heart. You're in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Deepest condolences, Julie and Tom

Dear Carmela and Family: My deepest sympathy to each of you on Ray's passing. I had the privilege of working with Ray for six years at Knollwood Park. His great sense of humour, his knack for resolving problems and his love for teaching and coaching placed him in good stead with the community, staff and his students. I have many happy memories of our time together.
