Raymond George Millson (Ray)
October 2, 2025
It is with sadness and love that we announce the peaceful passing of Ray Millson, surrounded by his family at Elmwood Place at the age of 86 on October 2, 2025. Ray was the dearly loved and loving husband of Peg (née Tapp) for 62 wonderful years; cherished father of Suzanne Millson (Shawn) and Scott Millson (Alex) and adoring Papa to Brianna, Brooke and Lucas.
For 35 years, Ray dedicated his career to the patients and community at St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital, where his compassion and commitment touched the lives of many. His professional life was a true reflection of his selfless and thoughtful character. Beyond his career, Ray gave his time to Scouts Canada, serving as a leader for thirty years. His enthusiasm for organizing and participating in events, such as the ScouTrees Fundraiser and Apple Day, truly inspired many he mentored.
He enjoyed working alongside his son Scott on countless renovation projects. Known for always having the right tool for the job, he loved problem-solving and was endlessly curious about how things worked. Ray will be remembered for living his life defined by kindness and generosity by his family and all who knew him.
His family wish to express gratitude to the East Park Staff of Elmwood Place for the exceptional care they gave Ray.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London.

Dear Peg and family, Please accept my heartfelt condolences at the loss of Ray. What a delightful person he was! I had the honour and pleasure of knowing Ray for many years and remember well when he and Scott would be busy on some project or another. Ray's kind and gracious nature did not fade as he dealt with his advancing Parkinson's Disease. I hope that each one of you has many wonderful memories of Ray to cherish and share. Most Sincerely, Pennie Thornton
Remembering Ray and Peg and family from First Westminster and Westminster Central days. Ray was a gentleman in every sense of the word. He always wore a kind smile. Thinking of you all as you celebrate a life well lived. If only there were more Ray Millson's in this world, it would be a far better place.
