Regis Joseph Trudell

December 26, 2016

It is with great sadness, that the family of Regis “Reg” Joseph Trudell announce his peaceful passing surrounded by his family at home, in London on December 26th, 2016. Born in Chatham, age 69, son of the late Gerard and Suzanne (Cormier) Trudell. He is survived by his loving and devoted partner Deb French. He will be sadly missed by his cherished daughters: Nicole (Matt) Solway of Chatham and Vanessa (Chris) Mann of London, England. Forever remembered by his grandson Aiden Solway, of whom he was extremely proud. Dear brother of Bob Trudell (Diana) of Chatham, Pauline Zimmer (Paul) of Chatham, Paul Trudell (Deb) of Blenheim, and Corinne LaRocque of Denver, CO. Predeceased by a brother John Trudell (2011). Remembering him fondly are his nieces and nephews: Joel, Aaron, and Sarah Trudell, Jonathan Feduk (Melanie), Nicholas and Jake Trudell, Matt and Dillon LaRocque and Amanda Schram and great nephew Nolan Feduk. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Reg will also be missed by many friends and extended family. Reg enjoyed spending time with family and sharing his love of cooking. We will all miss his great recipes and expertise in the kitchen. During the summer months, he loved to take his brothers to his happy place for a day of fishing on Lake Erie, in his boat. His smoked trout was delicious. But most importantly, we will never forget his ability to make us laugh and always live in the moment. He could take over any room and was usually the life of the party. He will be deeply missed and will be forever in our hearts. Reg’s family wish to thank Don Barker and the VON for their care and support during this difficult time. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Regis during memorial visitation at the Willow Ridge Golf and Country Club (formerly the Blenheim Golf Club), 439 Chatham Street South, Blenheim, Ontario on Thursday, December 29th, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Reg are asked to consider VON Canada

Like a caterpillar at the end of his time, he is not gone,

but only to spread his wings and start a new life.
