Rembert ‘Bert’ Vernaleken

May 25, 1933 – June 30, 2017

Of Bayfield and formerly of London, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” (May 26, 2017) for almost 60 years. Loving father of Janice Hartman (Pat), Brian (Joette), Paul (Tawnya), and Peter (Linda). Devoted Grampa/Opa of:  Chris Hartman (Janine), Jeff Hartman, Meagan Keane (Sean), Jill Hartman; Bronwen, Raphaelle, Isabelle and Lindsea Vernaleken; Michael Vernaleken (Kayla Crowe), Tyler Vernaleken, McKayla Glandon; and Adam and Lauren Vernaleken. Great-Grampa of Natalie and Claire Hartman. Survived by his sister Gudrun Vernaleken and brother Hubert Vernaleken. Sadly missed by his friends at Pine Lake. Bert was a man of conviction – he taught us so much. Cremation has taken place and a family celebration will be held in October. We take great comfort in knowing that Dad needed to be with Mom. We are so grateful for the care Dad received from Stratford General Hospital. Thanks especially to Dr. Ooi, Dr. Narayan and all the wonderful nurses and staff who cared for Dad. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bert are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Habe durch Zufall diese Seite gefunden. Ich war ein Nachbar der Vernaleken in Volkmarsen/ Germany. Ich kenne auch noch Gudrun und Hubert. Rest in Peace Rembert.
