We will always remember Bob as a genuine friend. His visits to our store as a sales rep started with business and ended with discussing everything but. His stories and sense of humour made him a joy to be around. The freedom of retirement should have lasted way longer for you Bob, but we know your life was full and well lived. Dear David, Erin, Chrissie and family My heartfelt condolences on the passing of our beloved Bob Bob and I started working together in the industry close to 40 years ago and over the following years turned into a great friendship although he was only 2 years my senior he always had great advise to offer whether it was business related or personal I will miss the many lunches, dinners and trips to Costco. Also his trips up to my home on Nipissing for fishing trips golf and many laughs. I am very grateful for our telephone conversation 10 days ago where we both said our goodbyes, a very tough call Bob will be sorely missed by myself and countless others he knew. Bob, you will surely be missed my friend. We always looked forward to the Master of the toaster every Morning Breakfast during our "up North" at our guy's weekends in Restule. We always were guaranteed that Bob had something funny to say or tell us a Furniture visit / trip story that had us in stitches. We will surely miss that about you. Bob was our sales rep for many years with Universal and Durham furniture. He was always a pleasure to chat with on his many visits to our store. He was always available to get answers for me of give information and advise or even just to chat and have a good laugh. Bob will be missed. I am glad that he is now painfree and without sickness. I will miss you buddy.

How is it possible to say good bye to a dear business friend. Bob will always be remembered at SCF for his friendship and especially the tray of his ‘home baked treats’ (inside joke) that he shared with us at Christmas. He had the greatest sense of humor & the kindest heart. He will be missed dearly. My condolences to the family.

Bob was one of the nicest guys I knew. Over the years we went from being business associates to great friends! Our adventures included guys weekend parties, snowmobiling, fishing and travelling together. I will miss you Bob!

It is with great sadness that myself and my brother Charlie have learned of Bob's passing. He will be remembered as an iconic furniture manufacturers rep and most of all a great human being.
