September 5, 2022

Bob was the captain of his ship and took his last voyage on Monday, September 5, 2022, surrounded by his crew in London, ON. Bob died peacefully from cancer in the arms of family, in his 74th year. He was the third son of Leon and Yvonne Renneboog of Delhi, ON. Beloved husband of his best mate, Dorothy (née Santo) and loving father to Chris and Ryan (Casey). Devoted Papa to his two grandchildren Tyler and Hailey. Bob has three wonderful brothers Albert (Joanne), Leon (Maryanne) and Mike (Emy). He will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Bob will be remembered for his fun, loving personality on the dock of his boat or in Pottahawk, enjoying Canada’s largest boat party with Dorothy and friends. He spent many weekends on the lake fishing with Ryan and Tyler or enjoying time with Chris. “Papa” was at almost every sporting event of Tyler’s, including tournaments as far as Chicago. Dear Dorothy and family, sending to each of you my heartfelt condolences in the loss of your dear Bob. Remembering, how very much in love you were with him at a young age and that continued during your entire life, the same happened with me and Henry and we were both so lucky to have experienced this kind of love. I am so sad, that I cannot personally extend my sympathy to you, but age has crept up and I drive locally only. Love to you and your dear family, cousin Eleanor Mergl
