Robert ‘Bob’ S. Gooding

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Robert S. Gooding, formerly of London, on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at the age of 81. Robert was predeceased by his wife Josephine and son Andrew. Much loved father of Anne Verberne (John), Kim Bach (Joe) and Jim Gooding (Lisa). Cherished Papa of Kyle Douglas (Nikki), Mindy Groves (Mark), Derek Gooding and Amber Bach. Loved by his great-grandchildren:  Savannah, Rhianna and Mason Douglas; Evan and Owen Groves; and Colton Gooding. Bob retired as a Captain from a 30 year career with the London Fire Department. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to consider Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
