Peacefully, on Saturday, March 21st, 2015 at University Hospital, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of 62 years of Barb. Loving father of Stephen and Stu (Andrea). Proud Grandpa of Emily (Scott Morrison) and Michael. Dear brother of Pat. Jim was an active, life-long Kinsmen member, proudly serving within the organization in both Beamsville, Ontario (until 1975) and then with the Kinsmen Club of Greater London. Cremation has taken place. A private service to celebrate Jim’s life will take place at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jim are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

I hope that in due time you receive God’s peace that excels all thought, so that it will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. As you know, God is called the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation. Rest assured that he cares for all his creatures and he would never bring us suffering. A soothing scripture is Psalm 34:18 which reads: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” Sincerely.
