Robert Vincent Caron Sr.
May 19, 1941 - November 22, 2022
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, in London, Ontario at age 81. Robert was born in Chatham, Ontario to Urbain and Margaret Caron (née McKeever) on May 19, 1941. He was happily married to Lorraine Caron (née Bell) for 54 years before her passing in 2013. Robert is survived by his four sons, Robert Jr. (Patricia), Randy (Candy), Jeffrey (Kim) and Christopher (Kimberly). He is also survived by his sister, Maribeth Fobel (Richard); and was predeceased by his brother, Richard Caron. Robert was blessed with 12 grandchildren: Paul (Malory), David (Jenna), Rena (Jay), Larry (Helena), Lacey (Scott), Brandon (Julie), Chad, Jennifer (Jay), Christopher Jr., Scott, Steven (Erin), and Jessica. He was also blessed with 15 great-grandchildren and most recently, a great-great granddaughter. He was an employee of Navistar in Chatham for 22 years until his retirement.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ursula’s Parish, 205 Tweedsmuir Avenue West, Chatham, Ontario. A reception at the Parish will follow.
