Ronald Nelson

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Ronald Nelson, aged 66. Our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Ron was predeceased by parents Charles & Doreen Nelson of Elliot Lake, sister Paulette & twin sister Georgina (in infancy). Left to mourn is his devoted wife Barbara Jean; daughters Laurie-Ann of Sault Ste. Marie & Barbara Lynn (Chris) of London; his grandchildren Elora, Lhiam, Katie, Bobby & Jenny, and great-grandchildren Rorie & Evie. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Charlie (Ruth), Yves (Claire), Frank (Joanne); sisters Louise & Annette (Chris); uncle Yves (Freda); nieces & nephews, and friends from Essar Steel in Sault Ste. Marie where he lived the majority of his life. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Whynot, Chaplin David, the Nurses, PSW’s, and staff of Craigwiel Gardens nursing home who provided him care during his last days. At Ronald’s request, cremation has taken place. Notification for Celebration of Life service TBA.
