Ronald Peter Fliss

At Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, August 23^rd, 2011, Ronald Peter Fliss in his 74^th year. Beloved husband of Margaret. Loving father of Kerry (Patrick) of Chicago and Brian (Tanya) of London. Caring son of Mary of Winnipeg. Beloved “Papa” of grandson Brett. Dear brother of Gordon of Ottawa. Predeceased by father Michael. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Ron grew up in Winnipeg and moved to London in 1970 with his wife Margaret. He was an avid curler and loved to travel with his family. Following a 30 year career at Labatt’s, where he served as Director of Finance, Ron stayed active by serving both the local and business communities at Homes Unlimited, Information London, the Brewers Association of Canada and Labatt’s Pension Committee. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1^st at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the memorial service will be held on Friday, September 2^nd at 1:00 p.m. To express sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada at www.pancreaticcancercanada.ca or a charity of your choice.
