Peacefully with family by his side at University Hospital on Friday, March 28, 2014 in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Minnie. Loving father of Allison Gibson, and Julie Mueller (Dave) and their children Andy and the late Jasmine. Step-father of Tony Van Eyk, Paul Van Eyk (Natalie) their children Sierra, Catrina and Monique, and Robert Van Eyk (Debbie) and their children Kristene and Taylor. Dear brother of Dave Gibson (Jennifer) and their children Paul and Sharon, and Peggy McArthur (Bill) and their children Justin and Darren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where a memorial service to celebrate Ron’s life will be conducted at 4:30 p.m In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ron are asked to consider the London Down Syndrome Association, 66 Broadway Ave., London, ON N6P 1A9.

Dear Minnie and family, WE will miss sweet Ron. He carried a gentle presence with him that we always appreciated. He always greeted us so warmly.
