Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Paul Dimitrick (2003). Cherished sister of the late Alma Barges and the late Francis Scheiding Sr.; and sister-in-law of Rose Gedz (Bill) and Mary Dimitrick (the late Peter). Loving aunt to Brad Barges, Francis Scheiding, Gary and Ray Sutherland, Steve Gedz, Mark Dimitrick, Tammy Gedz DiPaolo, and Laura Rowe. Dear great-aunt of Robert, Matthew and Adam Barges; Peyton and Selena DiPaolo; Paul and Connor Dimitrick; and great-great-aunt to Ariel, Owen and Tristen. Rose will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Rose are asked to consider the ALS Society of Canada or the LHSC – Cancer Program.

Rose will always be in my heart. I miss her already. She was a dear friend to me and we shared many happy times together. My deepest sympathy to the family.
