Peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Oakcrossing at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Daphne for almost 56 years. Cherished father of Erin Vardy (Julian), Chris Vigna (Christine). Devoted Gramps of Cameron and Sadie Vardy, and Carter and Audrey Vigna. Dear brother of Victor Vigna (Joyce), and Roxine Bisson (Robert). Remembered by in-laws Derek Weir (Raechel) and Kevin Weir (Deborah). Proud Uncle Roxy to many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Pre-deceased by parents Victor and Christina Vigna of Sault Ste. Marie.
Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Aunt Daphne, Erin, Chris and Families, On behalf of Paula and our kids - Mya, Layla and Owen - we are truly saddened at the news of 'Uncle Roxy's' passing. You are all in our hearts, thoughts and prayers in this difficult time. Personally, I will always be grateful for the fact that my 'Uncle Roxy' taught me the things that don’t show up on a resume but shape a life — that family comes first, that perseverance matters when things get hard, and that integrity is something you protect at all costs. He showed me that character is built quietly, in the way you treat people and the promises you keep. And somewhere between life lessons and laughter, he introduced me to music the proper way — through an 8-track player and Fleetwood Mac — proving that wisdom, like great songs, stands the test of time. Rest in Peace Uncle Roxy!
