I had the pleasure of first meeting Chic while I was young Leiutenant in the army. He was the most humble and caring Sergeant I had the pleasure to meet. Many years later in London, while I was a Probation and Parole officer, I heard a voice at the front of our office that I remembered from way back. I wandered up to see and there was Chic in his role as a special constable dropping off a summons. What a surprise. We had a great chat and several more over the years until I retired and left London. Chic was just one of those people you meet in life that you remember as a truly decent man. The world needs more .

Chic will always be remembered by his many friends in Cherryhill Village, as is his wife Colleen. A great FRIEND, a MAN of HONOUR, and a 'TROOPER to the end.

My sincere condolences to the family and sympathy in their loss. Chick worked for me several years at London Police as a Special Constable. He not only was a tireless worker, self motivated, and always intent on doing the very best job possible but getting it done in a smart and efficient way. He was a shining example to others for his positive attitude, wisdom, good personality and work ethic. He will be remembered.

As one of the Red Shirt Ladies at Cherryhill Mall, We would all like share our sorrow at the loss of Chic, We are sure he is back where needs and wants to be with Colleen. Dear Carol Randy, Rick and family I was saddened to learn Chic had passed away please accept my sincere sympathies in the loss of your dear father, grand father and great grandfather. Chic was a good and caring man, well liked in Cherryhill , always ready to help others no strings attached , whether it was in the gardens, organizing the Rememberance day ceremonies, or a host of other instances helping others, in my case in the last few months helping me with a serious problem in my apartment he was always there for me I was fortunate to spend quality time with him over lunches at the Oar house and the Pig in the mall, he was a very positive influence in my life, I will miss him dearly. R.I.P. dear friend, God knew you were getting tired and called you home to be reunited with your dear Colleen, your friend, Richard

My condolences to the Warden family. I worked with Chic for many years at the LPS. We had so many laughs! I loved hearing the stories about Colleen and the "kids" and his garden. You were all so special to him. Your Mom and Dad are together again.

To his family and friends: The London Police Service were blessed to have Chic Warden serving the citizens of London.
