Our absolute heartfelt condolences. Sarah was a wonderful young woman. She had such a great inner beauty and true gentleness about her. Sarah was always a good friend to Samantha good listener and a rare quality about her that you knew she truly care for you. We were all taken aback and shocked at her sudden passing. Sarah indeed was one of those people that made a difference and did not pass judgement on anyone. A rare but wonderful young woman all he same. That is such a rare find these days. Sleep in the arms of angels dear Sarah, the earth is now a little bit emptier without your shining spirit here. We will all miss you. Sleep int he arms of angels Sarah, be at peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sarah’s family at this dark time. May the strength and love of your family and friends carry and comfort you in this tragic time. Peace be with all of you. Please find comfort int he knowledge that Sarah was such a delightful young woman, one could not help but feel somewhat cheerier when around her. Sarah was a truly beautiful person inside and out. She will be missed deeply by many. Sarah was a wonderful young woman indeed taken from this earth far too young.

I met Sarah about 4 years ago when we worked for the city of London Daycamps at Rowntree. There is not other way to describe Sarah than a bubbly, giving, compasionate, funny, warm and inviting person. It was my first year ever running a camp and i was so nervous wondering who i would be put with; as soon as i met Sarah we just clicked and that summer spent with her and the camp kids turned out to be the best summer of my life. So many laughs shared and secrets shared over trips for angelos bakery everyday at noon. Making the camp calenders at each others houses. I am deeply saddened and my heart goes out to all that knew her especially her family for she made such an impact on my life while i only spent two months with her I can only imagine the wonderful impact she must have had on everyone who has known her longer. She will be greatly missed and thought of often.

~ Jessica Clark

My son Jack adored Sarah and always remembered her and asked about her. When Sarah was no longer in his classroom he insisted on visiting her at Shopper's. We would always see Sarah riding her bike in the neighbourhood and she always took time to say hello and ask my son how he was doing. "Sarah J" as the kids called her will truly be missed.

Still cant believe this happened to such a wonderful young person. I still remember one of our first classes at Fanshawe in ECE and the teacher told us to get into partners and thats when our friendship began. You were such an amazing friend to me. I knew i could always count on you and trust you with aything, and you always had a smile on your face, and we would always find the most random and silliest things to laugh about. I know we had lost touch after school, but im so glad that we started talking and hanging out more a bit this past year. I have so many wonderful memories with you and they will never be forgotten. I'm so glad that you were a part of my life. You were definatly taken way too early, but I know your in a better place and your up there watching over everyone you loved and cared about. R.I.P Sarah. You will not be forgotten. Thank you so much for your friendship and the great memories you have given me.

What tragic news for Sarah's family, friends and everyone at Ashley Oaks. My condolences to you all. Although it has been quite some time since myself or my daughter, Emily, has seen Sarah, she is still, and always will be, talked about. Sarah was there for my daughter more then she will ever know and I will forever thank you for that. I remember Emily coming home with pretty little nails and the cutest hair styles thanks to Sarah. It made Emily's day to asked for "Sarah J" at shoppers. And no matter what Sarah was doing she would come to the front with big smiles and hugs. Thank you Sarah for being an amazing person to my daughter and all the other children's lives you have touched. You will forever be missed, loved and remembered xo

~ Vicki, Emily Ryan's mother

Sarah was a very compassionate person, and very accepting of different kinds of people. She always worked towards achieving positive outcomes, and was very dedicated to getting what she wanted. I really enjoyed hearing her stories about the kids from her daycare, and watching her play with her dogs and cats. I will really miss her and my thoughts are with the Jackson Family through this truly tragic time.

~ Anthony Burke

No words can really describe this terrible loss. Sarah and our kids shared some great times together including birthday parties when they were young. We will miss her very very much. I recall a poem she wrote a few years ago about a person looking upon this place and all the people, only to realize that she was an angel. Sarah my dear, take our love and spread those wings! Out hearts go out to all the family in this time of need. James, Nikki, Kyle and Mark xoxox

~ Covell Family

Sarah had a special gift for making children laugh and feel good. I will always remember the way her eyes sparkled when she was playing with the neighborhood kids, organizing everything, laughing with them... She was also so kind to all animals, especially Scouty who got so excited when she came to the door. Sarah will always hold a special place in my heart. Love and hugs to you all. xo Mindy & little Matt.

We were fortunate to have Sarah take care of our Kids and She made a great impression on us but especially on our little boy who constantly asks of her. Sarah had the gift of communicating to kids with a great deal of respect and empathy towards them. Sarah's enthusiasm and willingness to connect with our kids didn't stop only at Daycare but anywhere she saw us, Sarah would take time to acknowledge us but specially to our son. Thank you Sarah so much for making our son feel very special every time you saw him. We will miss you and our thoughts are with your family in this difficult time. Ingrid, Leo, Dante and Milania

~ Patrick Hartman

Julie and Jon, I remember meeting Sarah when she was just two and you were pulling her past my house in her wagon. A beautiful little girl with a head of blonde curls. Later when Matt, Melissa and my two children came along they had so much fun together, and I recall especially them running around the tree on in our front yard. Sadly there was not enough time to play and grow up together after our move. But we remember Sarah still and we are all so sorry for your loss. Take good care of each other now and always. Martha, Emma and Samuel.

Jon, Julie, Melissa and Matthew, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Sarah, Melissa and Matthew coming out to Jon's ball games in Dorchester so long ago now and how beautiful and lively they were. And I hear about how your Sarah grew up to care for other's children and how much they loved her and how good she was to them and it brings a smile to my face in the midst of tears because I remember the summer my Sarah cared for your Sarah and Matthew and Melissa and how much they loved her and she them. What fun they had! And it reminds me of how small our world is and how, no matter how much time passes, we remain connected by what we once shared. My heart goes out to you Jon and Julie and I send loving thoughts and prayers to you at this most difficult time. In friendship and love, Dayle and Jim Allan.

May you find strength in each other, your families, and your friends to help you through this most difficult time.

~ Janice & Tim Thompson

Sadie loved Sarah very much. I don't know how I'm ever going to tell her that Sarah is gone. She will be sadly missed by Sadie and myself and Sadies Daddy (Will). We used to see Sarah on a very regular basis at shoppers. Sadie would always ask "is Sarah J in today" and the staff always knew who she meant, and they would always call her. This is very sad. So very very sad. My heart goes out to you all. Rick Graves, Sadies Grandpa.

~ Sadies Grandpa

Although I never met Sarah myself knowing her mother for the last three years I can only say my heart goes out to you and your family. It is so sad and very wrong to lose someone so young. Dear Sarah "J" I am unaware if you will ever know the impact you had on my daughters early years and I want you to know how much I appreciated your kindness, caring, compassion. Although only for a short time you've left a lasting impression in her heart and mine. Olivia would practically jump out of the car when we saw you riding your bike past our home, or approaching shoppers if she caught a glimps of you in the window. My heart is aching for your family during this difficult time. There is no doubt in my mind you have your wings now. You will for ever be in our hearts. With Love, Julie & Olivia

~ Julie, Junior, Olivia Phillips

Sarah, when I first started at Shoppers back in 2008, you and Nadia were the only people I knew before working there. I remember you would tell everyone I was "Courtney Wong, the girl that worked at Shaws" and would always give you free Ice Cream Lol. I'm going to miss your little baby voice when you would ask me to do you favours at work. Your love for Sweet Chili Heat Doritos and Triple X Vitamin Water. I always enjoyed coming in to work the Friday night shift. I am going to miss putting up talkers and signs with you and changing the signs above the pop were always a good laugh. Friday nights will never be the same without you. Cant forget our late night McDonalds and Crabby Joes for Somersby to vent about crabby customers. So blessed to have met such an amazing vibrant human such as you. You truly made an enormous impact in the short life you lived here. No more stressing Sarah, you're an angel in heaven now and will never be forgotten. Love, Courtney
