Scott Vaughn Carpenter

November 13, 2015

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear son Scott, on Friday, November 13, 2015, in his 47th year. Loving father of Eric and Victoria Carpenter. He will be deeply missed by his parents Vaughn and Janis Carpenter; his previous wife Tania Carpenter (née Pomponio); dear friend and companion Petra Boer; and his dog, Blue. Dear brother of Jayson Carpenter and brother-in-law of Jennifer Derrah. Remembered fondly by Uncle and Aunt, Dale and Sue Humphries and cousins, of Hamilton. Sadly missed by his nieces Ashley and Sarah Carpenter, and by his many friends, both on and off the course. Scott enjoyed playing golf at Highland Country Club, and loved the game of hockey; his team was the New York Islanders. The family extends their thanks to the staff at LHSC – Victoria Campus, for their thoughtful and caring ways. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations in memory of Scott made to The Salvation Army would be very appreciated.
