It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Josef. Devoted husband and best friend of 60 years to Anneliese. Loving father to Lisa (Michael Howard), Jeffrey, and Sonya (Gregory Bowser). Dear Opa to Amanda, Nicholas, Racine, Riley, Josef, Tessa and Max. Great Opa to 4 wonderful girls. Survived by his brother Lorenz. Josef was born in Austria and settled in London, Ontario, where he owned and operated multiple automotive establishments. A private family interment has taken place. Please join the family in a celebration of Josef’s life on Thursday, July 7th, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WINDERMERE MANOR – The Grand Hall, 200 Collip Circle, London. If desired, the family asks that donations in lieu of flowers be offered to the VON Palliative Care Team or the Dialysis Unit at LHSC.

We were in his office and we talked a bit about his history in business. The historic pictures on his wall. What a true mentor to us all. He will be missed. To the family.... Having done business with Joe for many years we always knew him to be a kind and generous man that accomplished so much in his life and was widely respected by all that knew him. Dear Anneliese and Family We were so sorry to hear of Josef's untimely death. (Aren't all death's untimely?) Our condolences go to all of you from all of us. I myself knew Josef for over 50 years and always found him to be a kind, successful and happy person. I remember the Local Newspaper praising him once in their paper as a 'Business Man with heart.' So really true. RIP dear Josef (Sepp) Prossler.
