Sharon Jean (née Smillie) Robinson

It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of Sharon Jean Robinson on Saturday, October 3, 2020. Sharon passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Cherished wife and soulmate of Ronald for 52 years. Devoted and loving mother of Jeff (Sherri), Heather Redwood (Frank) and Janice Wilson. Adored by her grandchildren: Travis, Kate, Kyle, Braeden, Charlie and Noah. Beloved daughter of the late Clarence and Ann Smillie. Dear sister of Margaret Smillie, Carolyn Pedersen, (Jorn), Brenda Treasure (Terry) and the late Brian Smillie (Elsa). She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Sharon was selfless, thoughtful, compassionate and humble – she lived her life true to her values. She was a nurturing, loving, dependable and generous soul, who gave from the heart to her family, nursing career, church, community and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a private funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Sharon are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice, London or Oakridge Presbyterian Church. The family respectfully requests no phone calls or visits to the family home.
