Sherry Anne Bourne

May 16, 2017

At 2:02 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16th, 2017, heaven gained yet another angel. Taking a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, daughter and friend, hand picking one of the most beautiful, caring, heartfelt souls earth was blessed to have for only a short 53 years.  That angel will now guide us all from above protecting us all from harm’s way and keeping us moving forward.  Do not be sad that she is gone, for she will live on forever in our hearts, for we should carry her with us wherever we go.  Her journey has just begun, as she travels the unknown. She will live on in the hearts of her loving daughters Kelly and Tiffany Bourne, grandson Dominic Martin, mother Sheila Wisniewski, sisters and brothers: Linda, Billy, Chuck, Nancy, Diane (Marc), Norma-Jean and David (Mary-Lynne). Predeceased by her brother Steven and sister Pam.  Memorial visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, June 10th, 2017 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Sherry are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, who went above and beyond in their care of Sherry and our family during this difficult journey.

I was acquainted with Sherry for many years now as our paths crossed a few times. First I met Sherry many, many years ago when we were both teenagers. Sherry and I shared in walking a path that I believed helped in our ability to gain strength to help heal our inner selves. Then again our paths crossed while living in the same apartment complex when we were young adults and Sherry first became a mother. Wow, I was so happy for her as she was such a great, loving caring mother. She had such an inner strength that made her shine. I am a blessed person to have crossed paths with Sherry and my deepest sympathy goes out to Sherry's family during this sad time. May you take solace in knowing that she will now be forever watching over you and is without pain and in forever peace.

I met Sherry when she was 17. She was new to Kingston and had some difficulties in her passed so wanted to relocate. She and I created a close bond with trust and caring for each other. We kept in touch until her passing. I was with her in the delivery room when Kelly was born. What a thrill and privilege that was. I was blessed to have known Sherry and very grateful.
