ANSCOMBE, Shirley Laura – Passed away in her sleep at Marian Villa on Thursday, August 4th, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Carl (2001). Dear mother of Barry of Toronto and Sharon Hodges of London. She will be missed by Sharon’s daughters Barbara Van der Sluis and her husband Mark of Fergus, Deanna Hodges and her fiancé Andrew Morton of California, Kellie Hodges of London and granddaughters Addison and Becca. Sister of Delores (Charbonneau) Mallette of Sudbury and aunt of Donna Di Fazio of Windsor. Predeceased by her son-in-law Gregg and by her sister Verrel. Mom will be missed by her roommate Katie and the staff at Marian Villa. We know now that Mom will be with her darling Carl. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Sunday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, on Monday, August 8th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Shirley are asked to consider the London Humane Society.
