Shirley Madonna Rangel-Bron

February 28, 2023

Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Ricardo (2022). Beloved mother of Ricky (Natalie) Rangel-Bron, Velvet Rangel-Bron, and Kelly (Mike) Easterbrook. Adored grandmother of Jenni and Michael, and great-grandmother of Talayna. Predeceased by her daughter Sandy (2018). Shirley was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and was a proud Newfoundlander throughout her life, looking forward to going home when she could. She was a loving mother and always welcoming to family and friends, and loved nothing more than to have a cup of tea, share a laugh and stories in the kitchen with you. Ric, I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. With Newfie heritage myself, I can appreciate her love for family, tea and stories. The kitchen is the heart of the home because of kitchen parties which Newfoundlanders love. In the sad days and months ahead, I hope you find comfort in the many memories of times shared. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
