Sofia Katsios

Peacefully and surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Marian Villa, London, in her 92^nd year.  Predeceased by her loving husband Sotirios “Steve”.  Loving mother of Stavroula and her husband Spiros Armeniakos, Nickolas and his wife Mary Katsios, Athina and her husband Ted Bikas, Vasile and his wife Roula Katsios (all of London), and Dimitra and her husband Peter Katsios, of Brantford, and their families.  Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 8:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be celebrated at HOLY TRINITY GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 131 Southdale Road West, London, on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Elias Drossos officiating. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. The family extends a special “Thank You” to Dr. Papukna and also to the staff of the 4^th floor at Marian Villa for their compassion and care.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Sofia are asked to consider Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or the Alzheimer Society, London and Middlesex.
