Peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Parkwood Institute, in his 96th year. Cherished husband, best friend and soulmate of Marie O’Meara (née Stillwell) for 70 plus years. Loving father of the late Cathy (2013)(Peter), Steve Jr., and Judy. Loving Papa of 5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Dear brother of Mike and Dan. He will be missed by several nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his sister Mary Lou, and by his brothers Jack and Pat. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 777 Valetta Street, London on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Registration is required to attend the visitation/Mass.

My condolences to Marie and the family. It was always nice to visit when we were camping in the area, even if there was the occasional collision beforehand. My thoughts are with you.
Marie, Judy and family, my deepest sympathies on Steve's passing. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with Steve.
I have been a long time volunteer with the veterans at Parkwood and always enjoyed spending time with Stephen. He had alovely smile for everyone and truly loved the music. So sorry for your loss. Be thankful for all the great memories
I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. I have fond memories of seeing Steve and Marie at Algonquin park while camping with my dad Mike.
