Susan Freeman (nee Mazzotta)

October 16, 2020

Peacefully transitioned, in the early hours, on Friday, October 16th, 2020. She will be deeply missed by her husband Steve Allen, son Nick Zalitach, daughter Elizabeth Hetesi, sister Mary Peers and brother-in-law Jason Peers. She will also be warmly remembered by all of her cherished grandchildren and Reign, her loyal golden retriever. Susan was a remarkable woman who fought a short but difficult fight. She was cared for by her loving husband Steve at home, for as long as it was possible.

Much gratitude to her Palliative team, Dr. Alyssa Boyd and all of the nurses and PSW’s at Campbell House in Collingwood who provided Susan with outstanding care in her final days.

A service will be held in her honour at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Tuesday, October 20th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Private family entombment to follow at St Peter’s Cemetery & Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum for family members only.

Sending love at this time. We are all going to miss Susan so much. She was such a beautiful soul. She had a great sense of style, had a way of making you feel special and what a great cook she was ! My nightly prayers have changed and it's my hope that she's enjoying no longer suffering and that she is reunited with all who've passed on before her. In the meantime, my heart aches for family and friends who feel her loss, greatly 😞♥️
