Teresa Nobre

Our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to Teresa’s beloved family…one and all. We are shocked and saddened by the loss of a beautiful, kind and generous woman who touched our lives and who will always hold a special place in our hearts. Keeping each and every one of you in our thoughts and prayers.

I was so saddened and shocked to hear of Teresa's passing. I worked with Teresa in the early to mid 80's and enjoyed her company and guidance. She had the best sense of humor and always found the good in everything. I had the pleasure of bumping into her at the Bookstore over the years and we'd catch up on work life, and family life. Sincere condolences to her loving family whom she cherished with all her heart. She will be missed. RIP sweet Teresa.

Inacio, Bruce, Raquel, Lee-Anne, Ben, Olivia, Harrison and family, our hearts are heavy with the loss of Teresa, a truly beautiful lady who welcomed us into her heart and home. I was truly heartbroken by the news of Teresa's passing. Her knowledge of books was a godsend for someone like myself but more importantly Teresa's always smiling face made you feel welcome with every visit to the Bookstore. She will be sorely missed and my sincere condolences to her family.

Inacio, Bruce, Lee-Anne, Raquel, Ben and family I can't find the right words to express the sadness and disbelief of Teresa's passing. She was truly someone who treasured her family, friends, customers and basically anyone she met with love and respect. I am forever grateful to meeting her when I started at the Book Store, learning so much from her. Her passion and commitment to her family was so strong, loved hearing about everyone througout the years. She always was there to help anyone who needed a 'shoulder, ear or HUG'. Sincere condolences to the Nobre family, I have know Teresa for over 20 yrs she was always a pleasant voice of reason to any problem and wouldn’t hesitate to challenge a process. She was a huge Soccer fan and we would always talk Soccer during Euro or World Cup time , also a foodie. I will miss our daily morning greeting very much! Teresa has been our friend for almost 20 years. She was always friendly, kind, interested and generous. While she helped us (Trix and Dave) create what she called 'the most eclectic book collection she worked on', Teresa expressed interest in various topics and excitement to the challenge of sourcing the most obscure and hard to find items. Teresa recently delighted in telling me that when an order for us arrives in receiving, they have fun knowing it is for us before checking, just because it would be so different. It was my connection with Teresa that gave me the opportunity to enjoy several years working in the bookstore; a fun bucketlist experience for me and a chance to interact with so many interesting people, like Teresa and so many young people outside of my circle. My sister Yvonne loved to order a variety of books from Teresa too. Though Yvonne annually ordered the Muppet Encyclopedia, mainly to cut out all the pictures (usually upsetting to book lovers), Teresa delighted in seeing the joy in Yvonnes face every time she picked up this favourite. Teresa was always especially kind to Yvonne, even being sure to give her a thoughtful and personal gift every Christmas and delighting in the handmade soaps Yvonne gave her in return. We are also grateful for her generous support to our Alzheimer walk team. Teresa was a truly good person who made the world a better place. We will miss her friendship, her enthusiam, her many kindnessess. We will miss Teresa always. Love, Trix, Dave and Yvonne in spirit

Heaven has gained such a beautiful and vibrant soul. We will cherish our many memories. Until we walk again, rest in sweetest peace, Amiga. Your light will continue to shine brightly in our lives forever. ALL MY LOVE!

Shocked and devastated are the only words I can find to describe how we are feeling to have lost such an amazing woman. Brayden will always remember you as the Tia who bought him the BEST books. You will be remembered so fondly by everyone who knew you. It still doesn’t feel real. Sending all our love and support.

With a heavy heart we say until we meet agian friend. The world will miss your kind manner, and your down to earth loving attitude. I will miss you genuinely laughing at my jokes. As we would gather at my sisters home for a get-together, we all looked forward to hearing a story or two from you. Heaven has gained an angel, while we wait to one day say hello agian. We will never forget you. Rest in peace friend.

I am shocked and truly saddened by Teresa's passing! I loved working so closely with her and she was my Ri rock when I needed it. She was passionate but humble, a loyal friend, a kind and professional staff member and a proud wife, mother and grandmother. I didn't know that the last time that I saw her would be my last and I miss her immensely. My deepest condolences to Inacio, Bruce and Raquel and all of her extended family. She's gone too early and will be missed by so many.

I am saddened, and shocked, to learn of Teresa’s passing. Before retiring I had the honour to share a desk with her at Special Orders; and just over two weeks ago when I visited the store, Teresa put aside her work for another one of our sharing exchanges about family and travel. As always, she made my day. She was a mainstay of the Bookstore and Graphic Services, keeping many of us from each area connected with her charming personality and goodwill. She will be missed.

I am so saddened to hear this news. As a professor at Western, I have known Teresa for more than 20 years, and ordered hundreds of books through her. Whenever I came by to pick up an order, we would always have a long chat about what was going on in our lives, where we had recently been and what we were reading. Teresa was so proud of her family, and spoke about her children and grandchildren with extraordinary fondness. I will truly miss her friendship and kindness. My deepest condolences to her family. Your loss is our loss.

Our hearts are broken and there are no right words to express our feelings over losing such an incredible woman. My beautiful godmother, you are deeply loved and will be so missed. Thoughts and prayers with you always.

I'm so sorry for your loss! Teresa was a lovely person and a joy to work with. I enjoyed catching up with her last summer at our granddaughter's soccer games. She adored her family and was especially proud of her grand babies. She will be very missed by all of us!
