Teresa Reale

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Reale (née Romeo) in her 93rd year
at McCormick Home. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Salvatore Reale (2022), and cherished mother of the late Gino Reale (2024) (Patricia) and her infant daughter Marisa (1955). She was the treasured Nonna of Natalie (Greg) and Marcia (Jeff) Bouwman, and proud biz Nonna to Avery, Irelyn, and Harper Bouwman.

Born to the late Vincenzo and Girolama Romeo, Teresa was a loving sister to the late Giuseppe Romeo (the late Enza), the late Giovanni Romeo (the late Caterina), Angelina Condarcuri (the late Michele), the late Giuseppina Sartoretto (Tranquillo), Ida Sanci (the late Mimmo), and the late Tonino Romeo (Lena). She will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Teresa was born in Italy and immigrated to Canada with her son to join her husband. Family was Teresa’s greatest joy. She was a warm, and caring soul who made everyone around her feel supported and loved. Teresa had a gift for cooking, not just in the way her meals tasted, but in the comfort and affection she poured into every dish. Through her cooking, Teresa created a sense of home that lingered long after the dishes were cleared, a legacy of love that will be remembered.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at McCormick Home, who cared for Teresa with compassion and dignity over the past nine years.

Visitation will take place at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Westview Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at Holy Family Mausoleum, St Peters Cemetery.
