Thomas ‘Tom’ Terence O’Shea

It is with sadness that the family of Thomas Terence O’Shea of London, announces his passing on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021, in his 81st year. Beloved husband to Margarette (Mitrovic) O’Shea for 60 years. He was a very proud father, Opa and Great-Opa. He is survived by his children, Micheal (Donna), Terence (Krista), Stephen (Jackie) and Sean (Karen). Proud Opa of Courtney (Matt), Sabina, Karmen, Kieron, Benjamin, Keegan, Jesse and Piah O’Shea. Beloved Great-Opa of Henry and George. Tom is survived by his brothers, Mike (Carol) and Pat (Lynn). Fondly remember by his in-laws in Germany and many nieces and nephews in both Canada and Germany. Warrant Officer Thomas O’Shea, proudly served with the Royal Canadian Regiment to protect our Country and freedoms. He continued to ensure our safety by serving with the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, EMDC.
A funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. The family welcomes those who are unable to attend, to participate in the service via livestream. Registration will be required to attend the service and to view the livestream.

We wish to thank the amazing staff at Parkwood Veterans, 2 Perth. The care, compassion and love you have shown Tom over the years is beyond words.

Steve my sincere condolences . I never met your father but from what I have been told he was well respected while in the Regiment and once he retired. May he rest in peace PRO PATRIA

My sincere condolences. WO O'Shea was one of the most professional NCOs I served with in my time in Germany. He was an expert mortarman and a very fine gentleman as well. Rest in peace.
