It is with sadness, that we announce the passing of our father, Bill on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at his home in London.
Bill was the devoted and loving husband of Joan for over 38 years.
He is survived by his children Michael (Jeannie), Susan (Henry), John (Marcie), Mark (Tracey) and his two stepsons, Dan Lyttle (Jordene) and Dale Lyttle (Laura). Grandfather to Abbey, Kate and Will, Lauren and Justin, Andrew and Patrick, Alex and Chloe, Jenna and Mystaya. Great Grandfather to Henry and George.
Bill was predeceased by his first wife Mary (1986) and his brother Richard (2015).
Bill spent many years living and working in Burlington until retiring and moving to London with Joan in 1998.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kirk Hamilton and his Palliative Care Team for their kindness and compassionate care over the past four months. Sincere thank you also to the VON team who lovingly cared for our dad, so he could remain at home. Deepest gratitude to Dale and Laura for their constant care and support of our father at a difficult time.
Cremation has been entrusted to Westview Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in London.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date.
To Bill's Family: We just want to say thank you for your Dad becoming a very big part of the Lyttle/Taylor family. He brought so much love and caring to Joan and her boys over the past 38+ years. Bill was a dear friend and brother in-law. We will miss him. Sending you our deepest sympathy and love at this very sad time Pat and Ted
