Timothy (Tim) Joseph Hunt

June 21, 1956 - May 19, 2025

Peacefully with family by his side at University Hospital in London, Ontario, in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Debbie Hunt for 44 years. Loving Father of Keith, Steven (Melissa), and Alison. Adoring grandfather to Abigail and Isabella. Loving son to Sheila. Loving brother to Lisa (George) Karlovcec, Cheryl (Mike) Crisp, and Jeff. Predeceased by his father Ben and sister Kathy (Ken) Kucera, and sister-in-law Barb (Boyd) Lather.

Tim was a stoic, thoughtful, and loving father. He was an avid golfer and would have many tightly contested matches with his wife Deb. He loved being with his family at large gatherings and sharing stories with those he was around. He loved sharing his journey of the multiple moves in his life, from growing up and working on the farm, to being a high school athlete in Glencoe. Once hired at Western University, he continued to work and strive to improve his skills, eventually becoming an integral part of the Linux team at Western. He taught the value of perseverance and always put the needs of others before himself.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, ON, on Thursday May 22, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 23 2025, at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta St, London, ON, at 10:00 a.m.

To our golfing buddy and good friend. We’re so glad that we played as a foursome at Oxbow and other area golf courses for so many years. We never lacked for anything to talk about. Laughed a lot too! Fries and a cold one in the clubhouse. Great memories to get us thru. Debbie,to you and the kids, we’re sending you comfort and strength now and in the days ahead.
