We are so sorry to hear of Troy’s passing. Mary sends her sincere condolences to the family.

Love and Hugs to all family members. Troy and I were always in contact with each other. He was a brother who I will miss everyday. I smile when I think of how he always made me laugh and his deep love of his family. He was loved and I will never forget his love for his friends Peace brother.

To my dear family, Aunt Mary, Kent, Suzy, Spencer, Mitch and Maddy plus all I havent met. During this sad time, may you all comfort each other and let the wonderful memories of Troy help heal the pain. Troy seriously lived life to the fullest, he was a good man, sometimes crazy, allways cool. I have such fond memories of him, from first meeting in London in 1995 (you kids were so tiny, Spencer you were in control there-still the same, kids?), when visiting in Cape Town after Stu passed, and staying in contact through the years. Suzy my deapest sympathy to you too, you two were so good together, perfect in every way. Troy my friend, my cousin, safe travels to the otherside. I will see you again one day, may you rest in peace till then.

Troy & l met over 25 years ago in Lambeth, we connected right away, l have many wonderful memories of Troy partying and getting to know each other & becoming Brothers! As life went on we drifted apart, several years ago we reunited at Forest City Community Church! I will never forget the day we reconnected & shared our life experiences and became followers of our Lord & saviour Jesus Christ! Troy was a devoted Family man who Loved and spoke very highly of his Wife Susan, his children & all his grandchildren may you all hold Troy’s love & memories close to your hearts! Rest in peace my dear friend. Thank you for all of your kindness. With giving me a job, when finding out I was pregnant you became a huge role in my life and always made sure I was okay. With getting my tums if I was having heart burn to having hash browns on my desk when I showed up in the morning. When moving offices told me if I try to move anything I’m getting fired hahah, the humour you had was amazing. Thank you for giving being a job reference and always talking me up. Thank you for being there when I was down, thank you for dragging me to alpha at the church. Thank you Troy Van Dyk for everything. I will truly miss you. My heart is broken but I know you are finally at peace and able to rest. Until I see you again my friend ❤️

My Condolences to all family and friends .. I had the pleasure to meet Troy through my Daughter Shyla .. My memories of him are pleasant and wonderful always greeted with a smile. I would always receive a personal phone call from try on my Birthday day just an example of such a personable man .. I am sure he will be missed by many .. May the days ahead get brighter as you cherish his great memories

Troy was the person that introduced us to New Hope and the ICBA Troy invited us to come to a movie on the church wall event and then to Thanksgiving service We enjoyed riding the back roads to Dover, lunch after church and his undying faith and love of family May those sweet memories comfort you He will never be forgotten

I remember Troy as part of NewSong's family for a short time. He helped put up my Grandsons crib for us . he waqs always smiliing and very kind . He Loved his family, and talked about them with a great Love. He Loves the Lord , He was a good friend to Our family . He will be missed by all . I am so very sorry to hear this heartbreaking news, lots of memories of wild rides to Port Dover with ICBA. I pray for peace for all those intimately connected to Troy as you navigate life without the person that loved you all so deeply.

I met Troy close to 20 years ago on the occasion when he prayed and acknowledge his need for God, and began to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through the ups and downs of life. Since that time, he continued to be a very loving family man deeply devoted to each one of them, and pursued his relationship with the Lord, in a very genuine way. I will miss Troy very much, and pray for the comfort of his family.
