Peter, as lifelong friends we’ve shared in so many wonderful memories. Angela and I cherish the time we shared with Vicki and you and especially the happiness and joy the two of you beamed during your wedding. The sun was bright. The backyard was beautiful and perfect with your children smiling ear to ear. Vicki will be truly missed and she leaves a great legacy my friend. Love Alex & Angela

Dear Peter and Family, Words can not truly express the saddness we feel after hearing the news of Vicki's passing. Every day at Unisource was made a little more enjoyable with Vicki to lift our spirits. The very mention of you or the kids would bring a wide smile that came from her heart. She always had a way to turn a bad situation into something to laugh about. The heavens have another bright star to guide us. Keep all of the wonderful, warm, and loving memories of Vicki close to your heart and she will never be far away. Unfortunately, we will be out of town on Wednesday and unable to attend the memorial gathering. We will hold you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

About a month ago Vicki and I had a long chat after many years. I was so excited to learn that she had the tapes that Uncle Arthur made back in the 1930's and the recording of my parent's wedding. We were planning how to get it copied. Sylvia and I were first cousins. In 1967 I remember Stu and I picking Sylvia and the kids up at the Allandale train station for a visit with Aunt Dorothy( my mom) and Aunt Bessie. I had many fun times at the Steel household while visiting Aunt Elsie and Uncle Arthur. Lorrie, I loved the colour that Sylvia painted the living room and dining room. I remember shopping for her and getting the green wine bottle that was made into a terrarium. Vicki was so excited about becoming a grandmother again. Although we talked for a long time I wish that we had talked longer. I had no idea she was sick. Our thoughts and prayers to Lorrie, Peter and her children and grandchildren.
