Mr. and Mrs. Thompson were very godly people and good friends with my grandparents. it was always fun to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa, but even more so when we'd visit the vacuum shop at the Thompson's. As a child, I remembered Mr. Thompson's rich baritone voice singing solos or duets. Heaven's choir has gained another good singer. To Mr. Thompson's family, my condolences and prayers are extended to you as you rejoice in the glorious hope we have as Christians. Hold your memories close - they are precious. Blessings and peace to all.
Eleanor and family, My deepest sympathy in the loss of your husband and father. We rejoice that Vic is in the presence of God! Even though Vic has left this earth, his love will always live in your hearts. Your in my thoughts and prayers! With Deepest Sympathy, Diane Miller (Indiana - USA)
Eleanor and family, sending you my deepest sympathy in your loss of a very special husband and father. In my short time caring for Vic, I was blessed. Vic sang and joked with me. He was a teacher of the Lord right to the end. Thank you Vic and Eleanor. You are in my prayers.
Eleanor and the entire Thompson family. Just arrived back after attending an awesome homecoming memorial at Forrest City Bible Church. I have known Vic now for 5 years and truly this man was just amazing. His love and passion for Christ was inspiring. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful servants. Psalm 116:15 I echo the apostle Paul's words, "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8 Vic was confidant on the amazing grace of God in his life through Christ & it was a privilege and blessing to having known him for this short time. A man who truly lived an "abundant life in Christ"and demonstrated the "peace of God " even when he was alive in his "temporary tent" Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 Loves from Nick, Veenet, Niven, Nikita and Nathan London Ontario
